Scope of Application
The QKM1 series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (here in after referred to as the circuit breakers) have a rated insulation voltage of 800V (660V for QKM1-63). They are suitable for circuits with AC 50Hz/60Hz, a rated operational voltage of 400V, and rated operational currents from 10A to 800A, and are intended for infrequent switching and infrequent starting of motors. The circuit breakers provide overload, short-circuit, and undervoltage protection, safeguarding lines and power supply equipment from damage.
Based on their rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity, the circuit breakers are classified into two types: L-type (Standard) and M-type (Higher). They feature a compact size, high breaking capacity, short arcing distance, and vibration resistance. They can be installed either vertically (upright mounting) or horizontally (side mounting) and provide isolation functionality. The circuit breakers comply with the standard: GB/T 14048.2 “Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 2: Circuit-breakers”.
