External (N-type) Current Transformer

Description
- External (N-type) current transformer (equipped with 3P+N function).
- For special site requirements, users may install an external CT on each phase conductor (3P+N). Corresponding CT ratio and installation method must be configured accordingly.
- Users should provide installation brackets as required.
- Recommended distance between CT and breaker: ≤ 2 meters.
Installation and Overall Dimensions

Refer to the “Circuit Breaker & Current Transformer Wiring Diagram” section for connection diagrams.
Ground Fault Transformer

Ground Fault Transformer (Zero-Sequence Protection)
When the grounding method is zero-sequence grounding, an external dedicated zero-sequence current transformer can be used to detect grounding current in the cable.
Installation can be carried out upstream or downstream of the breaker.
Recommended distance between transformer and breaker: ≤ 10 meters.
Leakage Current Transformer

Used for leakage protection applications.
When grounding is achieved through leakage current detection, an external dedicated leakage current transformer is required.
Recommended installation distance between transformer and breaker: ≤ 2 meters.

Optional accessories include:
- Communication software
- Data concentrator
- Communication module (plug-in or built-in type)
- Data transfer unit
- Maintenance module
- Power supply module
- Dedicated communication cable

COM Communication Options
For fixed-type circuit breaker communication, the COM module is composed of the internal communication module of the circuit breaker, together with a series of auxiliary contact signals (opening/closing coil, fault trip, closing ready, energy storage status). It also connects to the closing and opening coils with communication functionality.
For draw-out type circuit breaker communication, the COM configuration includes:
- Installation position signals (connected, test, disconnected)
- Opening/closing coils
- Fault trip
- Closing ready
- Energy storage status
It also provides connections for communication-enabled closing and opening coils.
Additionally, an external draw-out communication module is required. This module provides position signals (connected, test, disconnected) through a three-position auxiliary switch mounted on the cradle.
The COM circuit breaker status indicators are independent from the breaker’s local indicator contacts. The breaker’s indication contacts remain effective even if the COM module is not installed.
Built-in Communication Module
This module is integrated into the control unit and installed at the rear of the control unit. It is responsible for transmitting and receiving communication signals from the network.
A flexible cable connects the control unit and the communication module for data transmission.
The module operates with DC24V power supply.
Draw-out Communication Module
This is an external module. When the circuit breaker is in the open position, the module allows address setting for the cradle and stores the assigned address.
The module operates with DC24V power supply.
Communication Coils (Closing & Opening)
The communication-enabled closing and opening coils are connected to the built-in communication module.
The remote trip function (second opening coil or undervoltage release) operates independently of the communication accessories and cannot be connected to the built-in communication module.
